Wharf Jumping
Wharf Jumping
I was very excited, I had been waiting to go out on the wharf all day and it was finally happening,I couldn’t wait. As I lined up to jump my nerves kicked in.I peered over the edge to see how far down the water was,it was quite a far drop, but I knew I could only overcome the fear one way.I walked out and pushed myself off the edge, the butterflies now fluttering rapidly as I held my eyes closed tightly. As I hit the water with a splash i instantly felt the butterflies go away and replaced with the freezing cold water surrounding me.
